Our chapter members are the founders of the newest horse show in the state, the Summer Fun Horse Show. The show is held at the Florida State Fairgrounds, June 18-20, 2009.  It is our 4th year, and the show is designed to give all Chapter 16 a local place to show during the summer.  The show boasts a full roster for American Saddlebreds and Morgan horses with many open breed classes.  We have also included carriage driving classes to promote the American Saddlebred to other disciplines.  We also have the Exceptional Rider classes offered at our horse show, which is highly recognized within our state. 
UPHA Chapter 16 also governs our Academy Program, enforcing our Academy rules and regulations.  Providing a smooth well run Academy program all year round. 
 
The state of Florida offers 5 horse shows. Which are:
