UPHA GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
The UPHA Foundation and the Dewey Henderson Benevolent Fund Trust provide financial support for educational, humanitarian causes and charities that support the UPHA show industry and UPHA programs. We rely on our generous donors to fulfill our mission to improve the show horse industry.
Dewey Henderson Benevolent Fund
The Dewey Henderson Benevolent Fund Trust (DHBFT) was established to provide emergency financial support to UPHA Professional members, their families or estates who require assistance due to certain occurrences including, but not limited to, death, disability or natural disasters such as fire, flood, storm or theft which leaves them unable to pay current expenses. UPHA Foundation Grant
Grants are awarded to 501(c)3 organizations that are affiliated with the UPHA or that benefit from the UPHA and its stated mission to educate the public in general horsemanship, matters related to the welfare of horses by any means conducive to that end; to educate and train individuals in the art of horsemanship; to encourage and promote horse shows and stimulate interest in and awareness of the general public in horse shows; to encourage, promote, and advance participation in equestrian activities through education and science; and to undertake educational programs in equestrian activities. UPHA Professional Development Grant
