UPHA Social Media Policies
By becoming a member of UPHA, individuals must agree to adhere to all UPHA Bylaws, including the Code of Ethics and Social Media policies. On the UPHA membership application, members must confirm that they have read and agree to comply with the UPHA Media policies outlined below and acknowledge that their social media posts not only reflect on themselves but also on the industry.

Social Media Agreement
When a customer or student is posting content on social media their posts, pictures, videos and comments reflect on you and your business, a permanent record that can have lasting consequences. It is recommended professionals develop a social media agreement for customers and students to acknowledge they need to post content responsibly. The UPHA Education Committee has developed a template for professionals to use as a social media agreement for their customers and students.
